Delivery

UK Delivery, Included in the Price

Delivered anywhere on the UK mainland, with transport priced into the quote from the start. You get a delivery date, not a transport problem.

How it gets to you

  1. 01

    Inspected and consolidated

Finished work is inspected, packed and held until the next scheduled UK run. Several orders travel together, which is what keeps transport cost per item low.

  2. 02

    Photographed before loading

Every pallet is photographed before it leaves, so if anything is damaged in transit there is a record of how it was packed.

  3. 03

    On the regular run

Deliveries travel on regular scheduled runs, so the date is set when you order and it holds.

  4. 04

    To your yard or site

Final delivery anywhere on the UK mainland. Tell us at quote stage whether there is a forklift, whether a tail-lift is needed, or whether it is a kerbside drop.

How it is packed

Packing is a written standard that every pallet follows, so your oak arrives clean, dry and labelled, ready to unload and use.

  • Boards and panels on 800 × 1200 mm Euro pallets or long pallets up to 4.2 m, roughly 1.5 t gross maximum.
  • Finished surfaces separated with foam or card interleaving; oiled and lacquered faces never touch.
  • Every pallet finished flat-topped so another can stack on it without crushing the load.
  • Labels on two opposite sides carrying order number, piece count and gross weight.
  • Stretch foil on all sides and a moisture barrier over the top, so a wet day on a site does not reach the timber.
  • Small parts, fixings and samples boxed, labelled and strapped to the pallet they belong to.

When it arrives

  • Count the pieces against the label before the driver leaves, and note anything on the delivery sheet.
  • Take the foil off within a day and stand boards and panels flat, off the ground, indoors and away from radiators.
  • Let table tops, treads and flooring sit in the room they are going into for a few days before fitting, so they settle to the house.
  • Keep the packing photos email — if anything is not right, reply to it with your own photos and we sort it.

Delivery questions

How long does delivery add?
Up to a week from the order leaving dispatch. That time is already inside the lead time we quote — it is not added on top.
Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery to your postcode is included in the quoted price. There is no separate carriage line added afterwards, and no surprise on the invoice.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland, Scotland and the islands?
UK mainland is routine. Northern Ireland, the Highlands and the islands are possible but priced per delivery — tell us the postcode when you enquire and the quote will reflect it.
Can I choose the delivery day?
Yes. The delivery date is agreed when you place the order and confirmed a few days before, so you can book labour or a forklift for it. Tell us at quote stage if the site has restricted days or hours.
What arrives on the lorry — do I need a forklift?
Pallets up to about 1.5 tonnes. A forklift is easiest; a tail-lift lorry can be arranged for kerbside drops. Long pallets for 4 m boards need a forklift or two people and a bit of space. Tell us what you have and we plan the delivery around it.
What if something arrives damaged?
Every order is photographed before loading. Tell us immediately with photos and it is ours to resolve — remade or corrected and sent out on the next run.

Tell us your postcode with the enquiry.

Delivery is priced into the quote from the start, so the number you get is the number you pay — including delivery to your yard or site.
